Bocce and the EOS 1D

Tinkering with a colleague's EOS 1D at a customer/company picnic put me in a life or death struggle with a tumbling bocce ball. The only unnerving bit about the incident was that I felt the bocce ball whizzing by my head before I knew it was coming at me.
